TNA: Impact (4th June ‘09)
I guess that the main question tonight is if Samoa Joe can pull a decent match out of Kevin Nash! I have pulled the Impact preview this week straight from the TNA website:
- In a King Of The Mountain Qualifying Match, “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe will take on Main Event Mafia’s Kevin Nash inside the Six Sides of Steel with Lethal Lockdown rules! The winner advances to the King Of The Mountain main event for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary!
- X Division Champion Suicide and Daniels will team up once again to take on the tandem of Sheik Abdul Bashir and Kiyoshi
- Mike Tenay is scheduled to conduct a sitdown interview with The Main Event Mafia concerning Sting's new leadership as The Godfather
- Shane Douglas, Raven and newcomer Tara (formerly Victoria) will all appear on the huge program!
- In tag team action, Beer Money, Inc will face Consequences Creed of Lethal Consequences and Chris Sabin of The Motor City Macineguns
- Plus, the TNA in-ring debut of Jesse Neal
Feel free to discuss Impact here tonight, just remember that posting spoilers is for douche bags!

Joe/Nash had a pretty good match at Sacrifice, but they brawled on the outside of the ring a lot…the cage may limit them
yeah it may be good it seems as if of late nash has been trying to do good i think he realizes hes 50 yrs old and cant move as good as he use to and i been enjoying the British invasion something fresh and Brutus magnus i think thats how u spell it has improved alot
If TNA really did bring in Taz and intend on turning Joe into the new incarnation of the Human Suplex Machine I think we might see something comparable to Taz VS. Bam Bam. I still have trouble getting through entire episodes of Impact as is though, stomach issues you know. As for Nash, I think he’s capable of decent wrestling even at his age. He just needs to old school the hell out of it and put forth some psychology. Nash has to do the job though if Joe’s going to come out looking at all legitimate.
