The State of Womens Wrestling
I know most of you don't remember me but I'm a PWB'ite original. When Lex first started this blog I was one of the first to log in and comment. I have written on here off and on over time. It's been a while since I've written anything here but Gooser (my PWB'ite original buddy) asked me to come back and write again. I'm Mollie D. and I'm back!!!!!
Are women wrestlers entertainment or superstars? Some men say they don't like to see women fight and would prefer them for eye candy only. Others say yeah let them fight as long as they look sexy. Most women feel that if the females in the wrestling industry are going to fight they should be well trained and represent us well. So who's right and who's wrong? I say both are right. If a woman is going to be in the wrestling entertainment industry then they should be able to fight as well as entertain. Don't we expect that from the men? Don't we want them to fight as well as bring us into the action? Don't we get mad if they don't give us that rush we look for? I think were WWE and TNA have made their mistake is by trying to make the women different from the men. Yes we females are different but what I mean is if the woman was a man how would she be booked? So I think if Vince were smart he would divide up the women. Eye candy for entertainment and fighters for wrestling. I am actually very frustrated with womens' wrestling at this point. Too me it's become a potty break. If he had never started that stupid diva search women wouldn't have such a hard time now. Before the diva search we knew we were going to have some decent matches and even some skimpy dressed gals come out. Now when they come out we're all bored and sick of it. When will they actually get to fight and move up in rank like the men? The whole industry makes me sick. The woman don't get paid like the men do and why? Because they are women and of lesser strength in Vince's eyes. To him we are nothing but eye candy and servants. If he actually viewed us as equals then we would have the same chances as the men. There is no female tag division, no female U.S. champion...etc. Instead of worrying over steroids in this business Vince needs to start worrying over inequality in the work place before he gets a lawsuit in his face. I personally feel the woman's division needs to be re-worked completely and that also means that women will have to fight men and the men will have to deal with it. And before you go saying no that won't work. Remember Angle wrestled Chyna and he had to bring his A game with her. If the women are not going to fight the men then they need to be in the eye candy category. If men don't want to fight women then they need to be buff and put in the eye candy category. What you think we don't need something good to look at? We want the men to come out all nice looking for us too. So what do all of you think?
good points. personally i dont think women and men should wrestle one another. simply because every match would make the man come off as a heel. it just takes one punch or suplex and the guy will be booed out of the arena.
Good to see you back Mollie. It worked with Chyna. But Chyna is special. It will rarely work out.

only women win in the scenario you pose Mollie. The men would liik like heels if they win and the men would look like lesser wrestlers if they lost. That is more a scoial fact than story line. America will not stand for a man like Bastista beating up on a female such as gail kim. Equality is a myth. It is a myth generated by women who want the best of a mans world but none of the strife.
Examples
1 Women athletes want the same respect as their male counterparts yet many are unwilling to do the same stunts. Others choose to exploit sexuality then cry for men not to objectify them as an object when they lack a basic self respect.
2. Women refuse to give up chivaliry and other such social crutches. IE: child support laws, fair custody, sexual advantages and such
3. For every woman that would do well there would be three that would gladly sell out thus undermining the entire group.
4. If not done right womens wrestling comes off as cheap and un athletic. Mix in men and the shear weight of the solid men that are in the sport it becomes implausable and angrous to preform stunts.
In closing If women were to give up all social advantages and come down begin to adress men on a base level of genuine fairness your point will always be moot. In other words you can’t have your cake and eat it too. Right now in pop culture women are being shown as capable, smart, sassy, and more cleaver than men. That is one of the main reason men such as myself are moving to more and more sports like MMA where it is man on man force agaist force. The truth is women in a flat out fight will loose to men.
We are built to fight it is one of the few things we do well. It’s how god created us. One day you’ll realize this when REAL men are gone and you need one but all you’ll be left with will be the shell that american modern scoiety created.

Housewife as a job is a crock of shit. and child birth is a small price to pay cause at one point men had to kill frekin mammoths just to feed that new mouth.

If you think housework is not a job then you need to do it for an extended period of time. When my husband was laid off and I was working he quickly reallized it’s a job to take care of a house and kids. And if you think having kids is nothing then you really have no idea what pain is. I only had one our of my 4 with pain meds. And it wasn’t even the emergency c-section (that I felt the whole time). Usually men who talk like you end up alone in the very end and have complex issues. And if men today had to kill animals to eat they would rather starve. And who do you think cleaned and cooked taht mammoth? Yeah us women. If you want me to say killing a mammoth was a job what about the cooking of it? That is a job as well. If cooking is not a job then most people should be unemployed. As for women in wrestling….I’m just saying that maybe Vince should consider making it better for us to watch in the very least. And last time I checked the women train with the men . Don’t tell me us women are all weak. When I got held up my husband didn’t ask how I was….he asked how bad I beat up the guy. Which by the way…he had to go to the hospital.
Im still happily married i am just a firm believer that man and qoman have their place. I am not alone in this since. Half of america and religon agrees with me. Men are providers women are care givers. Nuffsaid on that. Now as for wrestling the only female I enjoy is Ryesha Syeed. She geys the point acrss without dressing like a whore.
Besides what is sooooo threatning about a strong man. I would think more men need to be like me then maybe we wouldnt have so many fatherless children. A woman cannot raise a man

I’ve been married now for 15 years and I do know my place. My husband will tell you that I am a good wife to him and a good mother to our kids. He will also tell you that I take care of everything, but the paycheck. He earns the money and I give a weekly report to him of the money and how it’s spent and saved. I do believe women should be women and men men. But that is for the household. I’m referring to women and men in wrestling. I actually agree with most of what your saying. I don’t like the women dressed like whores I think it demeans those of us who know how to be a lady. I think that if a woman is going to wrestle she should do so and not expect favors. When I was in the military I didn’t expect anything but hard work. I pulled my weight and the guys knew I had their back. And I agree with you if more men were men and women acted like ladies we would have less fatherless kids. And a woman can’t raise a man but she can raise a boy to be a man.
To take a piece from Chris Rock, some women say you don’t need a man to raise a child. Yea you can do it with out a man but that doesn’t mean it is to be done.
There is nothing more intimidating then,

Great post there Mollie. However, Vince has already established the difference between the women’s athletes and models, hence the Women’s Title which looks like a respectable championship belt and Diva’s Title which looks like it’s a Barbie doll accessory.
Yes I see your point 313rrd. but I was really meaning that the girly girls didn’t wrestle at all. In other words…wrestlers wrestle and barbies do all that bikni and stufpid gimmick mess. I say bring back the womens tag titles.
I think theres a difference between barbie dolls and slutty dolls. Like Torrie Wilson she was a barbie doll and that was great. But most of the current wwe divas just look like slutty dolls. It looks like they have been drinking the night before and entertaining some guys. You know drinking does not suit women.
Over drinking doesn’t suit anyone male or female. Vince likes them like that I guess. I’m tired of it personally.
