Kimbo Slice On The Ultimate Fighter
According to The Sun newspaper from England, Kimbo Slice is one of the competitors to appear in season ten of The Ultimate Fighter. Slice will be one of the heaveyweights who will compete for the six figure contract with either Rashad Evans or Quintin Jackson as his coach.
While this wont please many of the MMA purists out there, this will defiantly bring in the casual viewer into season ten. Kimbo is by no means a good martial artists, but he is a brawler who became famous through his internet street fighting clips.
Dana White said a while ago that he would not sign Kimbo to a fight contract but would allow Kimbo into the Ultimate Fighter competition to earn his place in the UFC. For White and the UFC it is a win - win situation. If Kimbo gets destroyed and out classed, then it will show how far ahead of the competition UFC is. If Kimbo goes on to win the season, then there will be money to be made from him again.
Do you guys think this will be a good thing for entertainment, or do you think that once again, Kimbo has taken the place of a lot more tallented fighters out there?

I agree, i normally haven’t watched this show, but i think if he’s in it, i’ll check it out to see how far he goes.
Great move for both parties, after the Elite debacle this is the only way that Kimbo can have a viable career in MMA because right now he is the biggest joke in the sport, while the UFC has the chance to regain lost interest in a tired format as TUF has been getting stale but with the country theme this series and a big name with a large fanbase on the show next series, as well as two coaches who hate each other, TUF is relevant again. Kimbo doesn’t have a hope of winning but it should make for good television and is the right way for him to build on his skills and prove a lot of his critics, not least Dana White wrong.
This show is as real as it gets. But, it would be who of Dana White and the UFC to keep Kimbo around on the show and alive to win for as long as possible.
Kimbo will be a 2/1 favorite to win this show.

i do hope that kimbo makes it to the finale so a larger fan base will see him get his @ss handed to him
