Davari Signs Multi-Year TNA Deal

Sheik_Abdul_BashirShawn Davari, now known as Sheik Abdul Bashir, is said to have re-signed with TNA, despite rumours of the WWE being interested in bringing him back. To be honest, I can't see him, or anyone signing with TNA if the WWE want them, but Jeremy Borash had the following on his Twitter:

JeremyBorash: Sources tell me Sheik Abdul Bashir has signed a new multi-year contract with TNA. Everyone put on your turbans!

I wonder if they will use him effectively as the anti-American heel that he can be.

  1. I still find it hard to believe that if an ethnic male says put on a head piece then the crowd will start to boo in this day and age. The best ethnic wrestler is Konnan as his promos have psychology and he takes it to the next level. He actually argues a case and utilises his uniqueness effectively.

Over the next 6 months i can see a lot of superstars choosin tna ove wwe as a lot of fans are doing. Just look at wwe’s treatment of mr kennedy, getting fired bcos Randy”the headlock” Orton went cryin to mr McMahon becos Mr K suplexed him What the f**k is up with that theres no glass celin in wwe its reinforced steel if u not 1 of the chosen few no matter how good u are u dont stand a chance Look how long it took benoit to acomplish anything but people like RKO keep gettin chance after chance after chancewhile people with twice the tallent (mr K Christian Regal) are all floatin round midcard.b At least tna aint afraid to give these superstars a decent push yes sometimes they fall short and the gimmicks seem a little odd (samoa joe in pj pants and a nob drawn on his face) but atleast they get the chance (and low and behold wwe comes callin again for the stars to be left midcard once again)

@ idelwally. Randy Orton has been given chances but he has also been screwed worse then anyone in recent history regarding storylines and the handling of his character. Not to mention, he has better mic skills, is a better athlete, evokes more reaction from the crowd then kennedy ever will.
