Cro-Cop Leaves UFC
It seems as though Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović is the next fighter to be removed from Dana Whites Christmas card list. According to White, he and Cro Cop made a verbal agreement to a three fight deal, with the first be against Mostapha Al-Turk last Saturday.
However minutes after the fight, Cro Cop informed White that he had signed a deal with the DREAM organisation instead. He thanked him for the payday, exposure, and the relatively easy fight, then left!
It turns out that Cro Cop refused to fight any of the top heavyweight contenders straight away and hand picked Mostapha Al-Turk himself.
Isn’t that a dirty [expletive] thing to do? He [expletived] me. The first time in the history of the company I do one over the phone. He promised me a three-fight deal and he [expletived] me…. He didn’t keep his word. He talked about honor and all this other [expletive] and he [expletived] me. He fed me this bull [expletive] about wanting to take a run for the title, and what I think he did was, he went out and did this. He turned down every other [expletive] fighter I offered him, because I needed him to fight Cain. He didn’t just poke Al-Turk; he poked me, too.

As much as I wanted to see the old Mirko"Cro Cop" Filipović come in and destroy his oponent at UFC 99, even I have to admit that he looked less than impressive. He seems to be winding down his carrer now and going for the easy fights with the good paychecks, which I can't really blame him for.
However if I were Dana White.... I'd be [expletiving expletived] off about it too!
This is one instance where I don’t think anyone with a decent understanding of anything can side with Cro-Cop.
Dana White is in nothing but the right and Cro-COp is in nothing but the wrong.
Mirko Cro Cop screwed Dana White.
That will only happen once.
Mirko has just burned a bridge with Dana White, he doesn’t want to be champion he just wants the paycheck.

Yeah, I’m with you on that one Arron. Like I say, I’m a big time cro-cop fan, but it’s a shame to see him go out like that.
This is why Dana never usually does one time deals, thanks to Cro Cop any chance of getting someone like Fedor in for one megafight has gone up in smoke. I’ve lost a lot of respect for Cro Cop after this, it seems like a rotten way to do business and he seems to be avoiding facing quality fighters in favour of cans. Apparently he has salmonella, so his proposed fight with Mighty Mo is off anyway.

Hang on. He basically waked in an left? What a douche. I hope that someone in DREAM knocks him out. Bring in someone like Fedor now, Dana cause he’s actually dedicated to the sport and more to the point, he’s going to steam roll over Lesnar. Man I hate that guy
