Bastisa Injured Again, Surgery Needed

Looks like Jeff Hardy wont be the only person from last night to have a short title reign. Reports are the Batista is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday morning to repair a torn bicep but the real kicker here is the injury did not occur druing Batista's 7 minute cage match with Randy Orton at Extreme Rules. Buy all accounts WWE was aware of the injury and scheduled the surgery before the PPV but still decided to go ahead with the title change anyway. It is expected that Batista will drop the title tonight during Raw as the surgery will put him out for at least another 6 to 8 weeks.
I understand why WWE decided to go ahead with the cage match seeing as they already built it up for weeks but I really cant imagine why they decided to have Orton drop the title knowing Batista wouldn't be able to hold it for long but maybe things will be made more clear tonight. And Before someone in the comments says it, yes muscle tears can be a result of steroid use and yes in the past 3-years Batista has suffered from torn right triceps(which he blamed on Mark Henry's carelessness), a torn hamstring, and now a torn bicep. But lets also keep in mind that none of us are doctors and Batista is 40-years-old and has never failed any drug test as far as we know. In my non-doctor/pro-wrestling blogger opinion I think it's clear that these muscle tears are undoubtedly a result of Batista's size regardless of what he may or may not be taking and/or doing to get that big. So whatever it is he's doing(legal or not) it needs stop and he needs to slim down if he wants to remain injury free.

it would be great if hhh comes out tonight and turns heel by destroying batista however I doubt it most likly orton/legacy will give batista a huge beatdown and pun him out of action and the tittle is vacated till night of champs
legacy will definitely have something to do w/ this…but id like to c him drop it to an mvp or matt hardy individual…fat chance tho!
I’d love MVP or Hardy to get the belt but that ain’t happening, I’d be quite happy for Orton to get the belt back because I don’t think he should have lost it last night regardless of Batista’s injury. As for Batista, his career won’t last much longer he’s had too many injuries and I agree with Sideshow, his physique is part of the problem, he needs to lose some muscle if he wants anyhope of career longevity and it’s an open secret how he can do that.
Too much muscle mass on his frame. Some guys hold that type of mass well and others are constantly having problems with it. Whether it’s from roids or not doesn’t even matter. I agree he needs to slim down. Make him go on a diet like they would the women.
Problem is the last time a big muscular guy visibly lost weight he was laughed at every show by DX for being skinny. Until the top stars, management and fans change their opinons on muscular physiques, wrestlers are constantly going to die at a young age or suffer deabilitating injuries. I don’t think that Batista’s career is going to end on a happy note.
breaking news: umaga released by WWE. wtf?????????
WWE.com reports the Batista is out for about 4 months
Kane, what the hell does that mean? WWE lies. See Cena
I know, that’s the main reason why I named wwe.com as the source
WWE.com in general does not lie about injury recovery times, 4 months is just an estimate know one knows how a particular wrestler is gonna respond to a particular injury after surgery. By all accounts John Cena needs less times then most while someone like Gregory Helms needs more time them most.
